Hourly lounges
Both terminals have a lounge after security. You pay by the hour, so there is no need to arrive early to get your money's worth.

Book online to guarantee a seat, or walk in if there is space. Pay at the desk when you leave.

The Meridian Lounge, Terminal 1
Open 04:00–21:00. Upstairs from the departure lounge, near gate 6. Lift access. Two shower rooms and eight work desks.
Horizon Lounge, Terminal 2
Open 04:30–21:30. Next to gate 22. A quiet room, a family area with games, three shower rooms and ten work desks.
Fast Track
Skip the main security queue. Fast Track has its own lane in both terminals and costs £7 per person when booked at least 24 hours ahead, or £8 at the entrance on the day. Book it on its own or with a lounge.
Showers
Shower rooms are inside both lounges and you do not need a lounge booking to use one. A 30-minute slot costs £15 and includes towels, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer. One shower room in each lounge is step-free with a fold-down seat.
Work desks
Desks in both lounges have a power socket, a USB charger and a reading lamp. They are free with lounge entry. Without lounge entry, you can book a desk for £6 an hour.
Quiet Rooms
Free to everyone after security, open 24 hours. Low lights, comfortable seating and no announcements. Find them near gate 4 in Terminal 1 and gate 24 in Terminal 2. Please keep phone calls outside.
Prayer rooms
A multi-faith prayer room is open 24 hours after security in each terminal, with washing facilities next door.
Overnight
The terminals stay open 24 hours. If you have an early flight, you can wait in the check-in hall overnight. Security opens at 03:30. There are no beds in the terminals, but the Quiet Rooms are open all night.
